Planting Seeds of Health Conference

Planting seeds of health conference

In it's third year, the Healthy Communitites Taking Action (HCTA) conference on October 3rd will be an exciting learning and networking event. The theme of this year's conference is "Green Health: a convergence of health, equity, and environmental efforts with nutrition and physical activity".

The focus of the conference will be the interconnections between health and the environment and an exploration of how those in related fields can begin to work together toward common goals.

The conference will take place at San Jose City Hall and will feature Dr. Richard Jackson, co-author of Urban Sprawl and Public Health, as keynote speaker; and Michael Krasny of KQED's Forum as our legislative panel moderator. Click here to register.
