ROOTPEDIA
Welcome to ROOTPEDIA, an online encyclopedia of all things related to garden based learning.
This is a collaborative effort. ROOTPEDIA has been created with the same type of open source software that Wikipedia is built with. This website uses a content management system call DRUPAL that allows YOU to contribute content as well as view it. If you would like to become a contributor to ROOTPEDIA, then please email Wolfram Alderson, Executive Director of Collective Roots, by clicking here.
The purpose of ROOTPEDIA is to develop content and resources for students, teachers, and anyone else interested in exploring the big wide world of garden based learning. Our goal is to build out each topic page included in ROOTPEDIA with original and collaborative content (text, images, video, etc.), providing links to existing sites on the topic. The idea is to fertilize the teaching and learning process in a highly collaborative and dynamic framework. Generating and editing pages in the DRUPAL framework is as easy as working in Word.
If you find a blank page or a page lacking content in ROOTPEDIA, then please consider this an invitation to contribute to the cause!
In order to access the content of ROOTPEDIA, simply click on the letter of your choice, or use the search bar to locate information on any topic on our website.
