Garden Club
Garden Club is a three-hour after-school program on Fridays. In Garden Club, students harvest, prepare, and enjoy an organic meal together, participate in hands-on gardening and create arts and crafts projects. Through our partnership with Hidden Villa, Garden Clubbers also enjoy three field trips a year to the farm and wilderness preserve, which are expertly tailored to fit our curriculum needs.
Earth Club
Earth Club is an hour-long weekly session on Tuesdays. Through hands-on projects, Earth Clubbers learn and participate in the four R's: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Rot. This year in Earth Club, students have made recycled paper, transformed tin cans into mini planters, prepared seasonal meals, and have created countless environmentally-friendly art creations.
Girls to Women
Through a wonderful partnership with another East Palo Alto non-profit, Girls to Women, Collective Roots delivers Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 after-school programming twice a week at the Girls to Women site. The program serves as a reminder that gardens, no matter the size, can connect young learners in meaningful hands-on activities. Girls from the program meet to maintain their raised bed, prepare meals with garden-fresh, organic produce and reduce, recycle and reuse through creative arts and craft projects.

Help Collective Roots grow and thrive!
