When asked to join the Board of Directors for Collective Roots I felt honored and accepted the opportunity.  Collective Roots allowed me to use both my business background in organization and strategic planning, and my personal interests in developing children, gardening and environmental action.  In my personal life I have been privileged to work with youth in Boy Scout activities (two of my sons are Eagle Scouts), coaching sports activities, mentoring college students and guiding young children at Hidden Villa.  My interests in the outdoors and sports, cooking and growing foods offer me an opportunity to apply some of these in helping to define and support the work of Collective Roots.
