Thanksgiving Shopping at the EPA Farmers' Market
Get your Thanksgiving shopping done early at the East Palo Alto Community Farmers' Market this Sunday, from 2 to 5pm. We expect to be joined by a NEW all-organic vegetable grower, just in time!
Our growers plan to have (almost) everything you'll need for a delicious feast, including:*
* sweet potatoes (they're especially sweet around T-giving)
* regular potatoes and garlic (very delicious together)
* celery, apples and onions (stuffing!)
* pumpkins (is it too late to bake a pie?)
* green beans (always a healthy option)
* pomegranates (try the seeds in a salad, or decorate your table)
* collard greens (tasty and good lookin')
* strawberries (got time for another pie?)
In addition, they also hope to have available:
* fresh broccoli, peanuts, eggplants, beets, sugarcane, lettuce, tomatoes, and jicama;
* all kinds of chilis;
* grapes, walnuts and persimmons;
* lots of greens greens greens;
* organic and healthy vegetables; and
* much more!
Come out to the market this SUNDAY (rain or shine) and give thanks for this this fall bounty of fresh and healthy food!
