Collective Roots Community Garden Work Day in July

Please join us for our next monthly Community Garden Work Day on Saturday, July 26th, from 8 AM-12 noon in the Collective Roots garden located at East Palo Alto Charter School, 1286 Runnymede Street, East Palo Alto. These monthly events allow Collective Roots to keep our school gardens in good shape and provide opportunities for larger scale projects to be accomplished. Teams of participants are provided with projects that are completed in one half day. Volunteers come from the schools we serve, East Palo Alto community, and surrounding communities.

Garden work day team captains are also needed and require additional commitments of time for training and preparation prior to the actual work day event. This is a great opportunity to serve one-time-only, or on a year round basis. These events are usually held on the 4th Saturday of every month, 8am--Noon. Please call us in advance to confirm date, time, and location.

Can be a once only or an ongoing commitment

Team Captains need to be available in advance of garden work days for training and preparation.
