EPACS Schoolyard Transformation Project

Design & Fundraising Volunteers

Collective Roots supports the remarkable efforts of Aspire Public Schools and the East Palo Alto Charter School in transforming the way in which education is being delivered in East Palo Alto. The entire EPACS campus has the potential to become a model edible schoolyard, including a very large school garden, an edible sports field, and more. Participants in this effort will help research and design landscapes for various educational purposes around the campus, develop proposals, and raise funds. This is a long term effort and may take several years to complete. The results will transform the way people think about educational environments, and your legacy will appreciated by thousands of children and families in the East Palo Alto community.
