Digging Deeper: Food Prices Increased 6.8% Last Year

The U.S. Labor Department, Bureau of Statistics reports that prices of goods and services have been on the rise. Here are 2007 prices of a selection of goods and services in the Bay Area, where prices rose 3.8 percent overall:
