Entrepreneurship Week at Stanford Event: “Innovating for Health- BYOB! (Bring Your Own Brain)”
The Center for Healthy Weight, along with the Stanford BioDesign Program, is hosting a special event during Stanford Entrepreneurship Week. Our program is intended to motivate students and staff within the Stanford community to develop innovative products and services to help solve the problem of childhood obesity.
We ask you to join us for a lively panel discussion and participate in an audience brainstorming session. We will begin with a panel of experts who will discuss the top five issues surrounding childhood obesity. This area has traditionally lacked innovative solutions so there is plenty of room for creative new ideas. Following a warm-up by the BioDesign Innovation Fellows, the audience will participate in a brainstorming session and kick off a three-day competition, the Innovating for Health Challenge. The winner will be announced at the Entrepreneurship Week Closing ceremony and will receive both recognition and a special prize. For more information: http://eweek.stanford.edu/2008/0225a.html.
