GRAND OPENING: East Palo Alto Community Farmers' Market
Announcing the Grand Opening of the East Palo Alto Community Farmers’ Market, Sunday, June 1, 2008 at 3:00pm at St. Francis of Assisi, 1425 Bay Road, East Palo Alto, California. The East Palo Alto Community Farmers’ Market will feature a wide selection of produce delivered fresh by local certified growers, plus health information, vendor displays, great music and more! The Market was thoughtfully planned and created to provide a local, easily accessible alternative food source to residents who now travel distances outside the City to find stores with quality, fresh produce, while simultaneously providing a cool new venue for community and social interaction. Come, buy your produce at the East Palo Alto Community Farmers’ Market, meet the people who grow your food and show your support for this great new community asset! The Market’s continuing evolution will be largely defined by the community it serves. We need you! We need your patronage, your participation, and your creative suggestions to ensure the Market is a robust and sustainable community offering.
Please join us at the East Palo Alto Community Farmers’ Market on opening day, June 1, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. The Market will operate every Sunday from 3pm-6pm beginning June 1, 2008. For more information, email us at farmersmarket@collectiveroots.org, or visit us on the web at www.epafarmersmarket.org, or call us at (650) 324-2769.
