We are excited to announce the development and upcoming launch of our new online colloquium project, www.foodsystemchange.org.  We have conceived this website as a portal and "meeting place" for existing community leaders and researchers of this important topic.  It will provide an overview of the subject, links to websites, reports and publications, and will create the first known dictionary or lexicon of language commonly used in the field.

We want to thank the Silicon Valley Community Foundation for supporting this project.  Our original grant application to SVCF requested assistance to create a "real-time" colloqium, or face-to-face meeting of organizations involved in food system change work, but ultimately we decided to put the colloqium online--to make it dynamic and ongoing, and to organize the site so that its content will have global appeal and local interest. 

We look forward to this website growing into another creative way for Collective Roots to convey our message and to promote dialogue and communication around food system change.  Stay tuned for news of the launch!
